To inculcate the quality of helping others we have begun the social awareness programme where our school has adopted a blind school, old age home and orphanage.
Our students visit them every saturday and spend time with them to give them moments of happiness to cherish in their gloomy world. We also invite them for various functions in the school and celebrate festivals with them by giving them gifts.
The social awareness programme has made a special bonding of our children with all the underprivileged children. The have learnt that it is through sharing that we receive, by giving that we get. |
